Keep your ring clean by using soap water every now and again and let it dry in air and polish it with a soft fabric. If the diamond has accumulated dust, then brush the diamond with a worn, soft-bristle toothbrush from time to time, to remove dirt from between the crevices and keep its sparkle unaffected. If any way the stains get more resistant then have a weak solution of ammonia (one-fifth) and water (four-fifth) and brush the diamond applying a soft brush.
