The Minister of Health Darko Milinovic will sign the new rules that would guide maternity centres located outside of surgeries and which can lead to the re-opening of several in Makarska, Sinj, Imotski and Djakovo.
The new rule book will lower minimum technical standards for these motherhood centers, which would "with a woman's consent - be able to administer regular births, without foreseeable pathologies.
The Ministry's inspector is predicted to go to the centres in the following 10 days so as to determine whether they satisfy the minimum standards. When they satisfy maximum standards, they're going to be ready to administer all births, writes tagza.com.
