Despite the many benefits that health insurance may offer, table 1.1 shows that the journey to implement insurance and achieve the benefits is challenging, long, and risky. Policy makers and technicians that support development and scale-up of health insurance must figure out how to increase their country’’s financing capacity, extend health insurance coverage to the hard-to-reach populations, expand benefits packages, and improve the performance of existing schemes. |

Tips For Women's Sports Health Issues You Need To Know
There is a greater need to understand women's health issues where sports are concerned since women are participating more now than ever. Neither gender is exempt from potential for injury when working out or playing in sports but women in particular must pay attention to some issues which we'll discuss here.
If you are in a fierce competition you are more likely to become injured no matter what age or gender you happen to be. If you are playing in any competitive sports it's pretty likely that you will have times where you get caught up in the heat of the game and are enjoying every second of it. It's important even in these times to pay attention to the safety precautions in order to avoid serious injury. It's important to keep well hydrated at all times. Incorrect movements can cause injury too so be careful you are using proper form. Cool down stretching and a tepid shower are a great idea for after the game is over. For most women the decline in muscle mass begins somewhere in their mid thirties. At this time, your metabolism also starts to slow down. Although the change in metabolism is normal there are of course some unwanted drawbacks to it. Your body no longer burns as many calories during the average day which means you need to decrease your caloric intake and increase your activity to keep from gaining weight. This is why exercise is so important for any women in this stage of life. You will burn fat more efficiently and help counteract the slowdown in metabolism and its effects on your body. At the same time, it's necessary to consider your calorie intake as well, especially where carbs, sugars and fatty foods are concerned.
One issue many women will have when exercising vigorously is a decrease or loss of menstrual periods during these times. This condition is called amenorrhea, and it's a sign that your body is not getting all the nutrition it needs. This condition can cause lower bone density and a higher rate of injury although many athletes believe it to be normal and not worthy of concern. Consult your doctor if this happens to you and begin decreasing the intensity of your training. If you're a woman who goes to the gym or jogs a few times per week this probably won't occur, but it's fairly common among women who are extremely active in sports.
