The Red Sea Resorts of Egypt Are a Property Investors Dream
For thousands of years, Egypt has been a country of luxury and culture. Today, many investors seeking excitement are looking at Egypt property investment. With a rich history, clear water, perfect sandy coastlines and first class resorts, the regions along the Red Sea are prime for property investment.
Know as the tourist capital of the Red Sea, Sharm El Sheikh, or Sharm, as it is affectionately referred to by its citizens, is ideal for likely investors. With warm weather tempered by the vast body of water, Sharm has plenty to offer for both the tourists and the serious investor. While it is not as established as Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada property also offers excellent opportunities for investors. Not long ago Hurghada was a small fishing village, but in the last couple of years it has blossomed into a tourist hotspot with 248 000 year-round residents, and is now one of the most desirable resorts along the Red Sea coast. Especially well known for its aquatic sports, Hurghada is one of the worlds best destinations for windsurfing, kiting, sailing, swimming, diving and even deep sea fishing. Boats with glass bottoms are operated for people who want to view the spectacular coral and fish without going in the water.
Quality property in Hurghada runs many thousand dollars less than Sharm El Sheik and has more capital gain potential of an up-and-coming resort that has not yet come into full flourision. Because properties are occupied all year round potentially, rental yields are very strong, at 10% -15% and can be more for the right properties.
While these are two of the most popular, the Red Sea shores of Egypt has numerous locations ripe for investment. If you are looking for an established resort, an up-and-coming tourist destination or even your own little paradise, Egypt property is worth investigation and can generate good financial and personal benefits.
