Creator Close Look At Humanity And Points Out The Illusions We Chase And The Trivialities That Make Us Slaves.
It is not always easy to find top books to read. Through pure popularity there are a lot of books that seem to be top books but are they really? How come? If a book becomes very popular through many sales this, in my opinion, does not necessarily mean it is one of the top books to read.
Many of these books simply have great marketing. But then that brings us to the point where we must define what actually makes a book one of the top books to read?
Naturally what one likes and does not like is subjective. Some people even like Westerns, most people do not.
Others like fantasy, action, romance, adventure, mystery, philosophy, spirituality, etc. Some like straightforward linear story telling, others like none linear, poetic, or symbolic genres. To love or not love any particular book there are obviously lots of different reasons.
The great thing about Creator is that it almost has all of the above elements, whether the reader is aware of this or not, and that is what makes it one of the top books to read for me. OK, the reason I like a book is different to why you like a book I’m sure. I will put it in a generic way: Creator is worth reading purely for the entertainment value, it is superbly written.
Here is how the story goes in a nut shell:
In ancient times when the Christian God sends his only son to save the human race, the Olympian gods sends a saviour of their own. Unlike Jesus, the saintly pagan son was not without sin, nor error; nor would he ignore temptations, and desire.
So Daedalus Rufus, In his quest to ease the torment of a secret curse, becomes a mortal god to the people, and he ends up creating a heaven on earth. He has the power to do mialces and turns misery into bliss, and doldrums into merriment and games.
I think the description above works well to describe the linear story, there is way more to discover which is between the lines: the symbolic, the profound elements.
Creator is one of the top books to read because it is masterfully written like a Charles Dickens novel, but is fast-paced. Creator combines ancient Rome with modern quantum concepts and philosophies, juxtaposes old with the new. This really is an original book, taking place in our bloodiest history, that is at the same time a modern myth.
Creator is really diverse on so many levels. My tip: give it a try, and it might become one of your top books to read.

Nicht dargestellt. Auszug: John Bardeen (May 23, 1908 - January 30, 1991) was an American physicist and electrical engineer, the only person to have won the Nobel Prize in Physics twice: first in 1956 with William Shockley and Walter Brattain for the invention of the transistor; and again in 1972 with Leon Neil Cooper and John Robert Schrieffer for a fundamental theory of conventional superconductivity known as the BCS theory. The transistor revolutionized the electronics industry, allowing the Information Age to occur, and made possible the development of almost every modern electronical device, from telephones to computers to missiles. Bardeen's developments in superconductivity, which won him his second Nobel, are used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In 1990, John Bardeen appeared on LIFE Magazine's list of "100 Most Influential Americans of the Century." John Bardeen was born in Madison, Wisconsin on May 23, 1908. He was the second son of Dr. Charles Russell Bardeen and Althea Harmer Bardeen. He was one of five children. His father, Charles Bardeen, was Professor of Anatomy and the first Dean of the Medical School of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Althea Bardeen, before marrying, had taught at the Dewey Laboratory School and run an interior decorating business; after marriage she was an active figure in the art world. Bardeen's talent for mathematics was recognized early. His seventh |
